Stark witnesses Extremis firsthand when Mandarin marketers Brandt and Savin assault him. in the meantime, Killian resurfaces and kidnaps Potts and Hansen. American intelligence companies continue to search for the Mandarin's place, with James Rhodes—the former warfare device, now re-branded as the Iron Patriot—lured right into a trap to thieve his Iron man-like armor.
